Do you like the song? What instruments can you hear? What is the style of music?
Now listen to the song "Johnny B Goode" by Chuck Berry.
What about this song? Do you like it? What about the instruments, are they the same or different to the first song?
Have a go at clapping out the pulse of each song. Can you find any repeating rhythms?

- The pulse is like the heartbeat of the song, it’s a constant beat throughout
- A rhythm is a repeated pattern of long and short sounds
