Spellings -er and -est
All of these words are adjectives (describing words) We add -er and -est when we are comparing these adjectives with something.
What do you notice about what happens to these words when you add -er and -est to them? (If it ends with an e, the e disappears)
Maths
If your child is still finding dividing a challenge here is a division video lesson for your child to work through and then complete these division calculations
If your child can answer the above questions easily there are some word problems for your child to work through

Now can the children write the beginning part of their story? They can copy as many ideas as they want from Pandora's Box or Mrs Burton's story. Remember only write the beginning today. If the children write the whole story in one it can be rushed and lack detail. Let's take our time and think carefully about the words we choose, our sentences, punctuation, spelling and handwriting.

Look through David Hockney's digit art pieces. Ipad : Digital: Works
Which ones do you like or not like? Why? Show them to people in your family, what do they think of them? Discuss if you can tell they are done using an ipad. Choose one and have a go at replicating it yourself either digitally or on paper. I can't wait to see what you create.
(Replicate means to make a copy of it)
