Reading

Read the books again today, don't forget to practice the words first before you read so that when you read you can concentrate on expression and understanding what you are reading.

Tab the Cat Reading Lesson for My and Mrs Stones reading groups

How to make a peach treat book  for Mrs Pemberton's reading group

English (Last lesson on instructions - show me what you've learned)

Today you are going to write your own instructions for whatever you want. You need to remember to add in everything we have been learning about e.g. imperative verbs, adverbs, conjunctions

If possible I would like this to be done without any help at all so I can see what the children have learned and remembered.

Ideas for what you could write instructions on:

How to play your favourite game, How to make cheese/beans on toast, How to make a paper snowflake

Really anything you know how to do confidently. You could make it first to remind you. You can read the pizza muffin instructions first to magpie ideas (but don't copy it or look at it when writing)

Don't forget to send it to me when you have finished.
