Art

In Art this half term we are learning about the artist David Hockey, what can you find out about him?

Who is David Hockney?

If you have a tablet or laptop, can you have a go at using it to create some art? How does it compare with doing it on paper? Next lesson we will look at some of the art David Hockney has produced using an iPad and see how it compares to our own

Forest School (Optional)

Stone stacking is an art, discipline, or hobby in which stones are naturally balanced on top of one another in various positions without the use of glue, wires, supports, rings or any other contraptions which would help maintain the construction's balance.

Collect some interesting shaped stones on a walk or from your garden (they don’t need to be big – pebbles will work too). Can you find the natural balance and construct your own Stone Stack?

Take your time and have fun! We would love to see your pictures.
