Homework for week beginning 14th March

 Here are the spellings we will be learning to spell at school this week. If you have time it would be great if the children could learn them at home too. The spelling test will be on Friday

Maths Homework

I have set some MyMaths homework based on the work we are doing on fractions in school. This week we have looked at halves and quarters, then next week we will look at thirds and which fractions are the same.

Other things we have been learning:

• In English we have been learning how to use a possessive apostrophe and how to extend our sentences with adjectives and extra detail
• In Computing the children have just finished their Word Processing unit, where they have been learning how to use the different tools on Word
• In History, we have been learning about life in the 17th century, particularly The Plague and The Great Fire of London - I wonder what facts they can tell you about these?
