Story Stones
People have been telling stories long before they knew how to write them down. Story stones are pictures painted onto smooth pebbles, used as an aid in storytelling - they can represent
a known story to be placed in order or a varied selection of images to help create your own stories.
Have a go at decorating your stones and ask your family to join in by picking a stone out of a bag in turn and use it to create an interesting, funny, magical adventure story!
You will need
5-10 medium sized smooth pebbles
Paints or felt tips (Sharpies work well)
A bag to pick your story stones out
Let your imaginations go wild!
