English

Today we will talk about the importance of instructions being precise - I will ask the children to draw something and give very little detail to show the importance of being precise and giving detail to make the instructions as good as they can be so they be successful.

We will recap what instructions are and what they have in them. I will then show them these very simple instructions about how to make a sandwich - I will follow them but get things wrong as there is not enough detail. We will talk about what detail is missing. Then I will ask the children to re- write the instructions but improve each one.

Computing
