Work for children isolating

Thursday

Handwriting - this week we have been recapping the correct formation  and size of all the capital letters (before we move on to joining letters next half term) Why don't you have a go at each one to check you are forming it correctly and remember it should touch the top line if it is a capital letter?!

Challenge:

English

Today we are getting a little peep into what we will be doing in English after the holidays - a losing tale.  Read the Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch and then can you identify the different parts of this losing tale.

R.E
We are continuing to learn about Easter. Firstly we will discuss Lent using  What is Lent? - BBC Bitesize.

Then move on to look at KS1 Festivals - Christianity: Easter - BBC Teach - we will recap what "disciples" means and introduce the word "resurrection"
Finally we will summarise the story with this Easter PowerPoint
To show what we have learned so far about Easter I will ask them to write Easter in the middle of their page and then record with writing and pictures what we have learned so far about Easter. (We will add to this next half term)
