Here are the words we will be learning at school this week, if you have time it would be great for the children to learn them at home too, there will be a spelling test on Friday
Maths Homework
There is a task set on MyMaths but feel free to keep working on your 10 times tables on TT Rockstars
Reading
As last week, the children will have a library book to read for pleasure which they need to bring back ready for their Wednesday library session if they want a new one.
On Thursday, the children will bring home the reading book they have read at school plus a Book bag reading book for them to read a few times, before bringing both back to school on Monday.
When reading the Book bag reading book we suggest they read this at least 3 times. The first read allows the child to concentrate on reading the words. The second read allows the child to develop their fluency and speed of reading. The third read allows for the children to understand the story (so feel free to ask questions about the story) and show off their story telling voices when reading.
